KFI Pro-V Snow Plow System
The KFI Pro-V is an 80 in. V-blade built for the John Deere Gator. Each wing pivots on its own, so one plow can split drifts as a V, carry snow as a scoop, push straight, or angle left or right to windrow. You choose how the wings move: by hand with pins, with actuators on dash switches, or with actuators on a hand remote that also runs your winch.
How the system goes together
Every Pro-V ships in four boxes plus the plow mount for your machine.
Box 1 and Box 2: the wings (KF-106820-DS driver side, KF-106820-PS passenger side). Steel frames with a replaceable, dual-curve poly face and a tripping wear bar.
Box 3: the center pivot (KF-106820-CP). The hinge both wings swing on, with the integrated height adjustment.
Box 4: push frame and wing control (MP, AP or APH). The welded push frame, center plow foot and the parts that set the wing angle. This is the box your control choice changes.
KFI plow mount. Bolts to the frame of your Gator and accepts the push frame. Selecting your Gator model adds the correct KFI mount to your order.

Top view of the wing positions. V is 75 in. wide, straight is 80 in., scoop is 72 in. (KFI spec), and a straight blade angles about 23 degrees either way.
Choose how you angle the wings
All three controls give you the same blade positions. The difference is how you get there and whether you leave the seat.
Option 1
Manual angle
Box 4: KF-106820-MP | Base price
Manual angling tubes (KFI 106530) hold each wing In, Out or Straight with pins.
To change positions you stop, pull the pin, swing the wing and re-pin it. Each wing sets on its own.
No wiring and nothing to power. Fewest parts to maintain.
Best for: Plowing the same pattern most of the time, or the lowest cost way into a V-plow.
Option 2
Dash switches
Box 4: KF-106820-AP | +$1,100.00
Two ACT203 hydraulic actuators, one per wing, replace the manual tubes.
Two backlit rocker switches on the dash, one for each wing. Rock a switch to swing that wing in or out without leaving the seat.
Actuators run off the machine battery through the included harness. Your winch stays on its own switch or remote.
Best for: Changing the blade shape often during a job, with simple one-switch-per-wing control.
Option 3
Hand remote
Box 4: KF-106820-APH | +$1,460.00
The same two ACT203 hydraulic actuators as Option 2.
KFI All Control hand remote plugs into a dash-mounted socket and stores in an included dash clip. Backlit buttons with an on/off switch to prevent accidental moves.
Moves the wings one at a time or together, has buttons to go to scoop, V, full left or full right, and raises and lowers the plow through your winch contactor.
Best for: Plowing for long stretches where one controller for the wings and the lift saves a lot of reaching.
Starting with the manual kit? Actuator control can be added later with the dash switch or hand remote push tube kit.
Adjustments built into the plow
Tripping wear bar. The steel wear bar along the bottom edge is spring loaded. When it catches a hidden curb, crack or frozen ridge it folds back to absorb the hit, then the springs return it to plowing position. KFI lists the trip edge as adjustable.
Integrated height adjustment. Bolt holes in the center pivot let you move the plow up or down to match your machine (KFI lists 2 in. of adjustment, -1 in. to +1 in.), so the blade sits square to the ground.
Plow feet. Grade-50 steel skid feet, 3 in. diameter. Set them high so the wear bar scrapes pavement, flush with the wear bar, or low to hold the bar off gravel and lawns.
Snow flap. The 21 in. blade face reaches about 28 in. with the rubber top flap, which helps keep snow from rolling over the top.
Dual-curve poly face. The face is curved to roll snow forward and throw it off the wing, and it can be replaced on its own if it wears.

Wear bar resting: normal plowing position.

Wear bar tripped: folded back after striking an obstacle.

Blade profile: steel frame, poly face, 21 in. face height and about 28.5 in. with the flap.
What else you need
A winch. The winch lifts and lowers the plow. It is required and sold separately. The hand remote kit wires into your winch contactor so it can run the lift.
The right mount. Selecting your Gator model adds the correct KFI mount to your order.
Running tracks on your Gator? Add the track extension. The V-Plow track extension (KF-106280) moves the plow 12.25 in. further out in front of the Gator so the blade has room to clear a front track system, which sits further forward than a tire. It is 1/4 in. Grade-50 steel, powder coated, with all hardware included, and is available as an option on this page. With the dash switch or hand remote kit, KFI also requires two 24 in. actuator harness extensions (ACT-EXT) so the wiring reaches the actuators. Call us and we will add them to your order.

Operating and care tips
KFI says to plow at 5 mph or less, even with the blade raised.
Raise the plow only to where it clears the ground. Lifting past that point can damage the machine or winch.
Grease the pivots and wear bar trip pins at the start and end of each season and occasionally during it.
Inspect the plow at the start of each season and after any hard impact.
Store actuator-equipped plows out of the weather, or the actuators in a temperature controlled space, during the off season.
Never stand or ride on the plow.
