A factory-look hard canopy for your John Deere Gator work series
Working a T-series Gator in the sun all day gets old fast. This canopy roof kit puts a rigid, UV-stable high-density polyethylene top over the operator station of your Gator TS, TX, TE, TH, or 6x4 (2004 and newer), with a powder-coated structural tubing frame that bolts to the vehicle. The green top is color-matched to your Gator, and the color is molded into the material rather than painted on, so it will not chip or peel.
It is built in North Carolina by the same molder that produces OEM-style equipment canopies, and it is the same kit sold through equipment dealers as the Eclipse Gator canopy (part numbers JG21G and JG04G).

Build it out as far as you want
The canopy is the foundation. Two add-ons turn it into real weather protection, and both are available in the option boxes above so everything ships together:
- Front-folding windshield - clear polycarbonate, folds flat forward when you want airflow or need to reach over the hood.
- 3-sided vinyl enclosure with zipper doors - wraps the sides and rear of the canopy frame for cold or wet weather, and rolls up out of the way the rest of the year.
Installation
The kit bolts to the Gator frame with common hand tools in about two hours. Every kit ships with hardware and printed instructions, and the factory installation guide is available as a PDF: download the Gator canopy installation guide.
Common questions
Does this fit the Gator XUV or HPX?
No. This kit fits the work series T Gators only: TS, TX, TE, TH, and 6x4, 2004 and newer. XUV and HPX Gators use a different canopy. If you have an XUV or HPX, contact us and we will point you to the right part.
Is the top painted?
No. The green color is molded through the polyethylene, so there is no paint on the top to chip, peel, or flake. The steel frame is powder coated black.
Will it shade both seats?
Yes. The top measures 42.5 inches front to rear by 50 inches wide and covers the full bench of the operator station.
Can I add the windshield or enclosure later?
Yes. Both mount to the canopy frame and can be ordered separately down the road, but ordering them together saves a second shipment.
